[ 創作理念 ]
末枯葉のかたちや、枯れ巻いた葉脈の流れにインスピレーションを受けて制作しています。 一枚一枚の葉は時が経つにつれて変化し、それぞれ個性を帯びた姿を現します。 クルンと丸まったりスッと反ったりクシャリと縮んだり。 その佇まいはかつて陽光に照らされ風雨に晒された中でどのように感じあるいは何を思索したのか、 各々の辿った道程を、生き様を語っているように映ります。 その風貌に秘められた歴史や痕跡が視られ、 物語を受けとれたときに作品つくりの源泉が湧いてくるのです。 [ ARTIST STATEMENT ] I am inspired by the unique lines and forms of withered and curled leaves that nature has created. Every single leaf transforms with a characteristic as time passes. I imagine that their appearance tells an own narrative of how/what they once felt and thought in the sunlight and rain. It is so fascinating and motivates me to make pieces. |
