べ・サンスンは、2005年と2008年に日本の「現代美術の展望 - 新たな平面の作家たち」の展示に選ばれ、韓国と日本を始め、多くの国際的な展示に参加しています。現在は京都を拠点に制作活動中。
面相筆で重なるように無数に描かれた白綿のような風合いと黒のベルベットの柔らかな質感が生み出す温かく優しいテクスチャによって、有機的で連綿と続く人と人の命のつながりを感じるだけでなく、深く静かな思索の世界に思わず引き込まれそうになる感覚を味わうことができます。

Sangsun Bae is a Korean Artist living and working in Kyoto, Japan.
A graduate of Musashino Art University, Tokyo, Sangsun studied for her Doctoral Thesis at Kyoto City University of the Arts, during which time she won a scholarship to study in London at the Royal College of Art.
Twice selected for the prestigious VOCA art prise in Tokyo, Sangsun has shown internationally in NewYork, London and throughout Asia and is currently represented by COHJU Contemporary Art in Japan and Gallery Dam in Korea.
