山口真人は愛知県瀬戸市を拠点に織部、志野、黄瀬戸、黒織部など伝統技法による作品の他、美しい青の濃淡が印象的な御深井作品の展開、日本の伝統的な図案を作品に落とし込んだ琳派織部シリーズ、窯の中で燃え上がる炎を彷彿とさせる火焔志野など、独創性を追求した幅広い作品を手がけています。
伝統とアートを融合させ、海外でも高く評価されている作品群をこの機会に是非ご高覧ください。
Tosei Kyoto Gallery is pleased to present Makoto Yamaguchi's first solo exhibition in two years. Based in Seto City, Aichi Prefecture, Makoto Yamaguchi produces a wide range of works in pursuit of originality, including works using traditional techniques such as Oribe, Shino, Kiseto, and Black Oribe, the development of works by Ofuke, whose beautiful shades of blue are impressive, the Rimpa Oribe series, a unique technique that incorporates traditional Japanese designs into his works. We hope you will take this opportunity to view his works, which are highly acclaimed overseas for their fusion of tradition and art. |
